A global expert in auction, liquidation and appraisal services, Maynards manages projects valued up to half a billion dollars from seven permanent offices in Canada, the United States, Europe, Japan and China.
> The Challenge:
Maynards required a major site update to modernize and optimize their online presence. Having already developed Maynards' internal Auction Management System (AMS) five years prior, our challenge was to incorporate this system into the fresh web brand that we were to develop.
> The Solution:
Using direct input from the various stakeholders within Maynards, Backbone developed a sleek look and feel for the site with independent branding for each division. We then developed custom elements for our Expression content management system that integrated with the AMS auction database.
> The Result:
The Maynards website is a constantly expanding marketing tool that is now being maintained in four different languages to target an international clientele. Expression allows Maynards to not only maintain the site, but also gives Maynards the flexibility to add features to the site as required in rapid fashion.
